This Privacy Policy explains how Lavin Fashion (“Lavin”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal data when you visit or make a purchase from lavin.fashion (the “Store”). We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Royal Decree No. M/19 dated 9/2/1443H and its amendments), supervised by the Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), as well as the requirements of the advertising and analytics platforms we use, including Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and TikTok.

2. The personal data we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

  • Identity & contact data: full name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address.
  • Order & transaction data: products purchased, order value, order history, and payment status. Card details are processed directly by our payment providers and are not stored on our servers.
  • Account data: username, password (encrypted), preferences, and wishlist.
  • Technical & usage data: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, and interactions with the Store.
  • Marketing data: your preferences for receiving marketing and your communication choices.

3. How we collect your data

  • Directly, when you create an account, place an order, contact us, subscribe to our newsletter, or leave a review.
  • Automatically, through cookies and similar technologies and the advertising/analytics pixels described in Section 5.
  • From third parties, such as payment processors, shipping companies, and advertising platforms.

4. Why we use your data and our legal basis

Under the PDPL we process your data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract, your consent, our legitimate interests, and compliance with legal obligations. We use your data to:

  • Process and deliver your orders and provide free shipping within Saudi Arabia;
  • Process payments and prevent fraud;
  • Manage your account and provide customer support;
  • Send you order updates and, with your consent, marketing messages;
  • Measure and improve our Store, products, and advertising performance;
  • Comply with Saudi laws, including tax (ZATCA) and consumer-protection requirements.

5. Cookies, analytics & advertising technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and software development kits (SDKs) to operate the Store, remember your cart, measure performance, and deliver and measure advertising. With your consent where required, this includes:

  • Google — Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and Google for WooCommerce / Merchant Center. Google may collect device identifiers, usage data, and conversion data to provide measurement and advertising services.   • Meta (Facebook & Instagram) — the Meta Pixel and Conversions API may collect browsing and purchase events to measure and optimise ads. See Meta’s Data Policy.
  • TikTok — the TikTok Pixel/Events API may collect interaction and conversion events for advertising measurement. See TikTok’s Privacy Policy.
  • Pinterest, Snapchat, and Reddit — where enabled, similar pixels are used for advertising measurement.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of personalised advertising via each platform’s ad-settings page (e.g. Google Ads Settings, Meta Ad Preferences, TikTok ad settings). Disabling some cookies may affect Store functionality.

6. Sharing your data

We share personal data only as necessary with:

  • Payment providers to process transactions;
  • Shipping and logistics companies to deliver your orders;
  • Analytics and advertising platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, and others listed above);
  • Hosting and IT service providers that operate our infrastructure;
  • Government or regulatory authorities where required by Saudi law.

We do not sell your personal data.

7. International data transfers

Some of our service providers (including Google, Meta, and TikTok) process data on servers located outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we take appropriate safeguards in line with the PDPL and its implementing regulations to ensure an adequate level of protection.

8. Data retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above, including to meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements. Order records are typically retained for the period required by Saudi commercial and tax law.

9. Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — including HTTPS/TLS encryption, access controls, and a web application firewall — to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

10. Your rights under the PDPL

Subject to the PDPL, you have the right to: be informed about how your data is used; access your data; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; withdraw your consent at any time; and object to certain processing. 11. Children’s privacy

Although we sell children’s clothing, our Store and accounts are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. Purchases for children are made by a parent or guardian.

12. Marketing communications

You may opt out of marketing messages at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, replying STOP, or contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional messages about your orders.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the Store.
